During my PhD study, I pursued research on steel material. Body centered cubic (BCC) Fe alloy or steel is one of the most widely used structural materials in various industries, infrastructures and our society. The mechanical and physical properties of steel strongly depend on C content, defect structures, and other impurity atoms. In my study, the behavior of C in complex defect structures of Fe matrix is investigated by simulation methods.
In my presentation, I would like to share a brief of my current study and some interesting things about research environment and the life of foreign students in Japan.
I am very honored to have this chance to present to the juniors in Nanotechnology program in VJU. I hope that my presentation will be helpful in your current study as well as your further study.
