VNU delegation visits VJU on 1st New Year Day

Delegation from Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) led by Vice President Pham Bao Son paid a New Year visit to Vietnam Japan University (VJU) on January 27, 2023.

 “I am very happy today to represent the Presidential Board and leaders of Departments from Vietnam National University in Hanoi (VNU) to say Happy New Year to all of you here. May you and your family have a New Year of health, joy, peacefulness and success. The year 2023 is very special to VNU as we will mark the 30-year anniversary of the promulgation of Government’s Decree on the National University. The year 2023 is also a very special year to VJU as the 50-year anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and Japan. Last year, we already moved to Hoa Lac but in this New Year, we will have a fully furnished campus in the Defense and Security area. We have recently visited new facilities of VNU members and there are a lot of green trees, very nice view there, which is surely much nicer than this place. Once again, on behalf of the delegation from VNU, we wish you a good health, happiness, and may VJU have strong and sustainable development in the New Year which will contribute to the general development of VNU as well as the development of Vietnam – Japan relationship”, said VNU Vice President Pham Bao Son in his visit to VJU.

The delegation’s visit proves the great attention from the National University’s leaders to the development of its member units in general as well as VJU in particular.

Earlier, VJU Vice Rector Nguyen Hoang Oanh, on his behalf of Prof. Dr. Furuta Motoo, sent his best wishes to all cadres, lecturers and Japanese experts working at the university and reiterated “Our Rector Prof. Dr. Furuta Motoo would like to say Happy New Year greetings to all of you. He wishes that in the New Year, VJU will combine the strength of both a cat and a rabbit. That’s the calm, the patience towards the goal of the Cat, and when conditions are favorable, we will have leaps to achieve the target as fast as the Rabbit”.

The year 2023 promises to be a very busy year for VJU with a series of activities in such fields as education, scientific research, services, management and development of organization and human resource, cooperation and development, and facilities and finances.
