The seminar titled Dialogue with Enterprises and International Organizations – Career Pathways in a Globalized World, held on May 10 at Vietnam Japan University (VJU), My Dinh Campus, provided an open forum to discuss career opportunities for International Studies students in the context of globalization.
Representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), and Industrial Growth Platform, Inc. (IGPI) shared practical insights into emerging trends in innovation, public policy, and sustainable development. Career stories, as well as the knowledge and skills required in multicultural working environments, were presented in an engaging manner, offering valuable guidance for students shaping their future paths.
With the participation of parents and prospective applicants for this year’s admissions cycle, the event also served as an opportunity to address questions about the Global Development and Innovation (BGDI) program – International Studies, and appropriate academic choices. Notably, a student from a specialized high school in Hanoi attended the event with her mother, expressing her enthusiasm for Japanese culture and VJU. She shared that she had studied Japanese in preparation to seize the opportunity to enroll at VJU.
Additionally, Dr. Dang Thanh Tu, Chief of Administrative Office, noted that the university currently has the highest number of students receiving the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship. With strong support from the Governments of Vietnam and Japan, together with its Japan-standard educational model, VJU provides a solid foundation for students to pursue careers in international environments or continue their higher education in Japan.
