On February 24 morning, at Vietnam Japan University, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Vietnam Japan University and SEKISHO Corporation, Japan.
Representatives of Vietnam Japan University, Rector Furuta Motoo, Chief Advisor Satoru Kohiyama and representatives of SEKISHO, President Masaki Seki, Chief of Hanoi Representative Office Yuichi Uemura attended the ceremony.
The MOU mainly covers training, internship, and scholarship activities. Accordingly, SEKISHO will award scholarships from ‘Sekisho Ikueikai’ Scholarship Fund to students of Vietnam Japan University and receive students for 3-month internship in Japan, and after the internships, excellent students have the chance to work at SEKISHO. In addition, Vietnam Japan University and SEKOSHO intend to cooperate in training and capacity building for staff of SEKISHO in the future.
SEKISHO President, Mr. Masaki Seki supposed that: Vietnam Japan University is the partner of leading Japanese universities with curriculum developed based on those run well in Japan. Therefore, SEKISHO believes that Vietnam Japan University has sufficient conditions to become one of the leading universities in Vietnam and the region. SEKISHO wants to collaborate with Vietnam Japan University in its development journey.
SEKISHO is a Japanese corporation doing business in various areas such as energy, automobile, office solutions and necessities. In 2016, SEKISHO opened its Representative Office in Vietnam. Vietnam is one of the potential markets that the Corporation wants to invest and expand in the coming future.
