At the invitation of Rector of Vietnam Japan University Furuya Motoo, Shimadzu President Teruhisa Ueda will have an Open lecture at VNU with the topic “Contributing to Society through Science and Technology “.
The lecture is an opportunity for VNU students to get better understanding the importance and contribution of science and technology to the development of society and a chance to meet with the head of one of the Japanese leading high-tech corporations.
Established in March 1875, Shimadzu Corporation with headquarter based in Kyoto (Japan), is one of the leading Japanese corporations in the field of manufacturing diagnostic, instrumentation and medical instrumentation. Shimadzu is well known for its high-tech products such as gas chromatographs, light absorption analyzers, composite surface analyzers. Shimadzu is the only place in the world that produces the “Direct-Conversion” Flat Panel detector for cardiology, x-rays and general radiology. The technology integrated of Shimadzu’s products is “science-serving technology.”
