Vietnam Japan University (VJU) is a research-oriented university which was established under the collaboration between Japanese and Vietnamese governments with the direct involvement of xxx leading universities in Japan. VJU has been pursuing research in sustainability sciences since its establishment in 2014. So far, the research in VN have been divided into two fields: Advanced Technologies and Engineering, and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences that is associated with two research orientation of natural sciences and engineering, and economics and social sciences. VJU has around 24 Vietnamese researchers having international work experience and 07 Japanese researchers.

Japanese Researchers
Given a short-time of establishment, VJU researchers have published many ISI papers at top 2% and 5% of the world in some specific fields. Research budget has been raised from various sources of Vietnamese government, JICA, Korea, etc.
VJU aims to becoming an international university opened to all students around the world, and developing with financial autonomy and privatization of resource mobilization. The university focuses on developing interdisciplinary integrated social and natural sciences (under the domain of sustainable science), associated with current development trends, requirements of manufacturing enterprises, as well as the university’s missions and visions.
