During his three-year term in Viet Nam, Ambassador Kunio Umeda not only endeavored to promote high-level activities between the two countries to build an extensive strategic partnership for peace between Viet Nam and Japan, but also made contributions to the educational development at Vietnam Japan University – VNU.
The Vietnam Japan University expresses its deep gratitude to the Ambassador as the Japanese Ambassador to Viet Nam as well as a Council Member of VJU who has made valuable contributions to VJU’s development as expected by the two governments on VJU as a university that trains high-qualified human resources for Viet Nam, Japan and the region.
