Testing Officer

Main duties and responsibilities                     

• Guiding, managing and inspecting the implementation of documents related to testing works of units, individuals in Vietnam Japan University.
• Participate in organizing training courses to innovate teaching, examination and evaluation methods.
• Working with Departments/ Faculties/ Programs in creating, supplementing, managing and using the Test Bank for the University’s training programs.
• Working with relevant units to organize, inspect and supervise the University’s exams.
• Handling the management, archived and security of exams, test scores as regulated.
• Implementing the duties of the Testing and Quality Assurance Department as regulated in anti-plagiarism work for training and scientific research in the University.
• Be the person in charge of working with VNU and other relevant units.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: BA degree in measurement and evaluation in higher education, educational management or graduated with a MA degree aboard.
• Work experience:
• Working experiences in higher education activities.
• Having knowledge in Education Law, Law on higher education and related documents on education testing.
• Working experiences in education sector and familiar with Japanese academic working styles are advantages.
• Foreign language: Proficiency in communication and writing in English.
• Preferred skills:
  • Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of the Internet.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and make deadlines.
  • Demonstrates good judgment; approachable and professional; problem solving skills; ability to handle multiple tasks; self-motivated; well organized.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral) and teamwork skills.
  • Good skills in designing survey forms, processing data using SPSS.

Salary and Benefit

Successful candidate will be offered an attractive remuneration package comprising of:

• Basic monthly salary: negotiable;

Recruitment process

• Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a Jury established by the Rector.
• Successful candidate will be offered a 1-year contract with 02 months’ probation period. The Incumbent can be offered another 2-year contract upon the satisfaction of his/her performance.
