Vietnam Japan University (VJU) is pleased to announce our 2019 Summer Program, which is going to be held in 2 periods such as period 1: 18 – 28 August 2019 and period 2: 18-24 August 2019 Summer Program is an intensive 10-day residential program in Vietnamese studies and cultural exchange.

Summer program is designed for international students to broaden profound knowledge, bring a wealth of experience of living in Vietnam, and gain the thorough understanding of the close-knit relationship between Vietnam and Japan.

This year, VJU offers a shorter program which start the same time, but finishes sooner (August 18 – 24).

Participation fee:

800USD (For period 1)

 

Shorter program: 600 USD (For period 2)

Both includes accommodation, course materials, registration fee, lectures, schedule transportation, and field trips.

Participants shall bear all other costs including but not limited to local transportation in Vietnam, air tickets, meal expenses, insurance, passport and visa costs, and any other incidental expenses during the period of the school.

Eligibility: The prospective applicant must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or postgraduate student, who may communicate in English (preferred to TOEIC 500 or higher) and show financial ability to cover the program fee.

Aims of program:

VJU Summer Program aims to create a multi-cultural learning environment for participants and therefore to present them the best real-life experience through a wide range of interesting intellectual and memorable outdoor activities taking place in and out VJU.

Here, all students get more opportunities to explore socio-cultural Vietnamese life through a variety of fruitful lectures with prestigious professors, and interactive activities with locals such as experiencing Vietnamese cuisine, visiting famous historical and cultural attractions in Hanoi, Ha Long and Ninh Binh. Participants also will have a useful field trip to Japanese companies in Vietnam to gain economic knowledge in an authentic setting.
