On September 2, 2021, Vietnam Japan University (VJU) and Toyo University (TU) signed the Student Exchange Agreement at Toyo University, Tokyo, Japan. This cooperation opens up opportunities for VJU students to study in an international environment to enrich learning experiences and enhance culture and international understanding.
In the agreement, each university may recommend up to three (3) qualified students, who meet the requirement on language and academic achievement with annual standards, to be evaluated for the exchange program. Undergraduate and graduate students under exchange program may study for up to one academic year in the host university. Students will get full-funded tuition fee, examination or other similar fees at Host University. Scholarship may be awarded to a strong study record or nominated students by the university.
Toyo University ranks 77th in Japan and 401th in Asia for its significant developments according to Times Higher Education in 2021. With the long history of education, top-notch facilities and accredited quality, Toyo is regarded as a desirable learning environment for VJU students in particular and international students in general.
The signing of Student Exchange Agreement promises a future of friendly cooperation between the two universities and continues to affirm the strong international integration of Vietnam-Japan University toward advanced education in the region.
