In the morning of July 5, 2024, H.E Mr. A. SAJ U. MENDIS, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of Sri Lanka to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, visits Vietnam Japan University (VJU).
H.E Mr. A. SAJ U. MENDIS obtained his PhD from the well-known Indian Institutes of Technology, also Alma matter to Sundar Pichai (CEO of Alphabet), Shantanu Narayen (CEO of Adobe), Nikesh Arora (CEO of Palo Alto Networks), Vinod Khosla (co-founder of Sun Microsystems), Parag Agrawal (former CEO of Twitter), etc.
Prior to his Vietnamese mission, H.E Mr. A. SAJ U. MENDIS had been serving as the Sri Lanka Ambassador to Republic of Korea and the Kingdom of Bahrain. He is also a senior fellow at Harvard and visiting professor on international economics to many universities worldwide, including VNU.
