On November 25, 2016, Vietnam Japan University (VJU) and Osaka University officially signed a memorandum of cooperation in training, research and student exchange.
Accordingly, the two institutions will work closely in promoting cooperation in training, research, lecturing materials, thematic workshops, data and document sharing in areas of common interest; exchange of master students, scholars, and researchers to help develop and improve training curricula of VJU master’s programs.
With regard to master student exchange, the two institutions also signed a “Memorandum of Understanding for student exchange between Osaka University and Vietnam Japan University”. Specifically, up to 10 students are entitled to register for exchange program every year, details will be discussed, consulted and agreed between VJU and Osaka University. The Memorandum also specifies requirements in terms of language proficiency, expertise and responsibilities of each university in ensuring security, rights and benefits of participating students.
The signing ceremony marks a milestone in VJU development history, comprehensive cooperation with Japanese partner institutions and lays the foundation for new academic opportunities of VJU students in the coming time.
