With heavy hearts, we learned that Former Prime Minister of Japan, Mr. SHINZO ABE has just passed away.
NHK News reported that, Former Prime Minister Shinzo ABE passed awat at the age of 67 depite the best efforts of the medical team to save him.
Looking back to his work in the past, Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe played an important role to promote the establishment of Vietnam Japan University in 2013.
Four years later, on January 17, 2017, during his visit to Vietnam, Mr. Shinzo ABE attended a meeting with representatives of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Rectorate Board and students of Vietnam Japan University. The Former Prime Minister emphasized that Vietnam Japan University is a very important project, a symbol of the friendship between the two countries, and a training center for highly qualified human resources for Japan and Vietnam. Former Prime Minister Abe hoped that the students of Vietnam Japan University would have the excellent study and be able to contribute to the development of Vietnam in the future as well as become a bridge between the two countries, Japan and Vietnam.
