On 7 September 2020, at VJU campus, an online series of talk was attended by VJU students and those who concern. The RILAF special lecture series are conducted online with the partticipance from 7 lecturers and specialists from Japan.
The series of lectures included Lecture 1: Settlement of international legal dispute by judgement; Lecture 2: International commercial arbitration and ADR; Lecture 3: Japanese Immigration Law and System of foreign workers; Lecture 4: Legal comparison of M&A schemes in Viet Nam and Japan; Lecture 5: What is Tender offer and its comparison between Viet Nam and Japan; Lecture 6: Competition Law and Restriction of Business Combination and concentration; Lecture 7: Regulations on foreign investment in M&A.
In recent years, the bilateral relationship between Viet Nam and Japan has been developing strongly in many fields and in a broader scope. An increasing number of Vietnamese students and workers choose Japan as a destination for further study and employment and a number of Japanese enterprises come to invest in Viet Nam as well. The series of special lectures are conducted in order to equip VJU students with latest updates about laws and related issues of the two countries so that VJU’s students are confident and proactive to seize job opportunities in their interested Japanese enterprises and make sustainable values in their career.
