Key Research Areas
VJU aims to become a university that conducts research activities in the fields of advanced techniques and technologies and interdisciplinary science with postgraduate proportion making up to 50% of education scope. With this orientation, researching activities are developed along with postgraduate programs’ activities, residing under the overall domain of sustainability science.
The research activities in VJU consists of, but not limit to the following areas:
- Fundamental researches on nanotechnology that are able to apply and resolve existing problems in many fields
- Advanced and innovative technologies for sustainable resource protection and utilization, waste treatment and recycling, pollution monitoring and recovering the environment towards climate change mitigation and adaptation
- Modern techniques for planning, designing, construction, management and maintenance of infrastructure facilities in line with trends of sustainable development
- Advanced skills for management of social infrastructure, for solving problems raised in the practice of sustainable development and international integration.
