Queuing is common in daily life and in some cases it causes negative emotions. In businesses, service providers try to provide the best services in their possibility in order to minimize time and expenses for queuing.
How to reduce “queuing time” in an organization? To answer this, it involves mathematics, research and “queuing time” analysis.
Theory of queuing models is researched from 20th century and applied in many fields such as post and telecommunication, air, railways, traffic control, computer system effectiveness evaluation, health care, businesses… In various service systems where customers use a common system and have to wait for their turns. Sometimes, they are not served because of the overload. Theory of queuing model is the one to define the best solutions to get highest portion of service and therefore get the highest profits.
