Vietnam Japan University (VJU) is a new university model in Vietnam, the seventh member university under Vietnam National University-Hanoi (VNU), envisaged to become an internationally recognized university, and a symbol of the close and fruitful cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.

Job Purpose
To perform quality assurance duties at VJU.
Required duties and responsibilities
- Supports manager(s) to compile the regulation, procedure, plan and documents in the field of quality assurance.
- Cooperates and advices other VJU’s units to:
- Implement the quality assurance plan;
- Collect information and exhibitions to support accreditation activities;
- Develop solution to improve and assure educational quality of programs and university;
- Develop improvement action plan after finalized self-assessment and accreditation;
- Prepare for the accreditation process and supervise the implementation of accreditation process;
- Participates in training and guiding on activities of self-assessment, accreditation at program and university levels.
- Stores and manages quality assurance documents and exhibitions.
- Compile, adjust and implement the plan to collect feedbacks from stakeholders; summarize and analyze database…
- Translate documents that relevant to assigned duties.
- Periodically report to supervisor and Rectorate Board; Upload reports to software and quality assurance portals.
- Attend the trainings on quality assurance;
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Education: University Degree in related field or Master Degree from foreign countries
- Work experience:
- Experience in relevant areas;
- Foreign language: Be fluent in spoken and written English (IELTS 5.0+). Proficiency in Japanese will be considered an advantage.
- Preferred skills:
- Proficient in planning and duty implementation.
- Strong in supervising and explaining skills;
- Good in data analysis skill;
- Flexibility, determination, enthusiasm and ability to cope under pressure.
- Creativity and willingness to learn.
- Organizational skills, time management.
- Good teamwork, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Attitudes:
- High commitment to deadline.
- Highly responsible toward work.
- Cooperation, accountability and services oriented.
What VJU can offer
Successful candidate will be offered an attractive remuneration package comprising of:
- Basic monthly salary: depending on candidate’s profile and following the internal cost-norm of the university;
- Monthly meal allowances: 700,000 VND;
- Others: following VJU’s regulation.

Recruitment process
- Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by recruitment committee established by the Rector.
Successful candidate will be offered a 1-year contract (2 months’ probation period). The Incumbent can be offered another 2-year contract upon the satisfaction of his/her performance.
