On August 23, 2023, YAMAGUCHI Natsuo, Representative of the Komeito Party, Ms. UKISHIMA Tomoko, Vice Chair of the International Affairs Bureau of Komeito Party, and Mr. YAKURA Katsuro, Vice Director of the International Affairs Bureau of Komeito Party, visited VJU. During their visit, they met with Rector Furuta, faculty members, and 10 students.
During the meeting with the students, they made presentations on their dreams for the future. Mr. Yamaguchi listened intently to the students’ presentations and gave them words of encouragement that left them feeling inspired and motivated to pursue their dreams. Moreover, during the Q&A session, a student asked Mr. Yamaguchi what is most important for keeping world peace. He answered that communication is most important, and also emphasized the importance of all countries following the rules.
This visit was a truly special opportunity for VJU. We are committed to continuing our efforts to strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and Vietnam.
