On the morning of March 5, 2018, Master’s students of Vietnam Japan University, Vietnam National University, Hanoi had a chance to meet with Mr. Toshiaki Koshimura, Director and Corporate Advisor of Tokyu Corporation and Tokyu Group Senior Council, President of “Conference of intellectuals promoting ideas of Vietnam Japan University” belonging to the Cabinet of Japan.

At the meeting, Mr. Toshiaki Koshimura showed attentiveness to the students’ learning experience, especially the first cohort who have just completed their internship in Japan. Internships in Japan for VJU students are designed to include a fine combination of activities such as: specialized classes, internship in enterprises, tours, and cultural exchanges, etc., jointly developed and delivered by VJU’s Japanese partners, including universities, research centers, and enterprises.

After listening to the students, Mr. Toshiaki Koshimura highly praised their motivation, inquisitiveness, and the ability to best leverage upon their study, research and internship in Japan. 

In appreciating Mr. Toshiaki Koshimura’s attentiveness, VJU students expressed their gratitude to the governments of Vietnam and Japan, Vietnam Japan University, partner universities and organizations and businesses for delivering high quality master’s programs and going extra mile to offer unrivaled support for students in the current context of Vietnam.

In addition to support activities for VJU, Mr. Toshiaki Koshimura always deeply cares about VJU students. In June 2016, Mr. Toshiaki Koshimura delivered a special lecture entitled “Model of VJU graduates that Japanese enterprises desire”. The lecture has inspired and helped VJU students shape their career orientations, especially those who intend to work in Japanese enterprises and organizations.
