In mid-January, MPP students and lecturers came to HCM city for their practical activities. The destinations of the trip included Ho Chi Minh city Hi-Tech Park, FPT University and the Institute of Research and Development.
Ho Chi Minh city High-Tech Zone
Here the team met the representative and listened to its achievements and difficulties in operation and development in Viet Nam. Questions about policies for science; technology and operation of high-tech zones have been raised by the students and partly addressed.
Participants have experiences in working with real-time technology robots. They went to galleries and classes in Viet Nam-Japan Center for training and technology transfer which is in the high-tech zone.
Real Time Analysis (RTA)
Received by Le Dang Trung – The company manager, the team was introduced about services that the company offers in Viet Nam: Those are innovative and high-tech products and services about market survey, business governance and operation.
FPT university
In FPT university, participants had a chance to listen and Q&A about its policies.
HCM city Institute for Development Studies
Is the final destination in this trip. Here the Institute representative shared about research activities and policy consultations to the city government and provincial areas. Beside social and economic researchs, researchs related to building innovation and high-tech zones in the city east attracts concerns from lecturers and learners.
The trip was interesting and fruitful to MPP trainers and trainees. It implements MPP direction to update its trainees with policies development and implementation in core economic areas. In addition, such fieldtrips bring about chances for trainees to get access to trending branches such as high tech, technology transfer… By this way, learners can be updated about the development trend and choose their further intentions and focus in their studies.
