After typhoons, stranded plastic bottles litter beaches of Ishigaki Island, south-western Japan. Some of the bottles are produced in Vietnam. How did these bottles travel from Vietnam to Japan across the ocean? Actual processes are redrawn based on the data obtained from information on the bottles which were gathered both on the beaches in Japan and the towns in Vietnam. This presentation contains vital information for those interested in both countries. Those who are interested in environmental issues, ocean debris are most welcomed to this seminar.
