Ms. Tran Thuy Anh, a first-year student of the Engineering Program in Smart Agriculture and Sustainability (ESAS)
Here is Ms. Tran Thuy Anh’s share about her experience after a year of studying at the Engineer’s Program in Smart Agriculture and Sustainability at VJU!
Reasons for choosing Vietnam Japan University:
I see VJU as a university that is suitable for my goals and orientation. It is very interesting to learn and develop in an international environment and to learn about another culture (at VJU, there are many outstanding and friendly Japanese lecturers).
Next, VJU always cares about students’ opinions and prioritizes students’ interests first.
The facilities at VJU are also one thing that made me choose to spend my youth years there. Although VJU is not big, all the equipment in the university is fully equipped (the toilet is always clean like a hotel, and the alarm sounds like a Korean movie’s music. In addition, the wifi and air conditioner at VJU are always operating at 200% capacity, so it’s warm in winter and cool in summer at VJU.)
Reasons to study the Smart Agriculture and Sustainability program:
I am currently studying Smart Agriculture and Sustainability (ESAS). First of all, the reason is my strong passion for plants, which I have had since I was a child. Next, it is probably due to my ambition to devote a little of our efforts to creating quality products and effective farming methods and contributing to Vietnam’s agriculture and the Vietnamese economy.
In the current 4.0 era, technology and digital are strongly applied in all fields, and agriculture is no exception. At present, I realize that our agriculture is still not sustainable and not entirely smart, so when choosing my current major, I always want to contribute a small part of my energy to help improve the quality of the agricultural sector in our country today.
The next reason for me to choose this major at VJU is the quality of the training as well as the quality of the faculty at VJU. The lecturers are all passionate professors and doctors who are always dedicated to teaching and sharing with students. I also see many opportunities at VJU for my field. We will have the chance to intern in Japan soon.
Plans for the future after graduation:
After graduation, I intend to work in agriculture or for Japanese firms. The professors at VJU also assist and advise us a lot. They constantly provide us with the opportunity to have hands-on experience with the major.
Wishes for the 12th graders this year:
Wishing you do well on your graduation exam this year and get into the university of your choice. Win with confidence!
