On March 20, 2020, Mr. Konaka Tetsuo and JICA Viet Nam’s delegation visited Vietnam Japan University (VJU) before the end of his 2-year term. Welcoming Mr. Konaka Tetsuo and the JICA delegation included VJU Board of Directors and the Japanese Technical Chief Advisors of the project.
After two years of working in Vietnam, Mr. Konaka has made great contributions to the development of Viet Nam in general and Vietnam Japan University in particular as in expectation of Japan and Viet Nam governments. With the support of Japan government via JICA, VJU is implementing 8 high-quality master programs in accordance with Japanese standards based on a co-coordination model with leading Japanese universities such as Tokyo University, Osaka University, University of Tsukuba, …
On behalf of VJU, Rector Prof. Furuta Mooto expressed great appreciation and thanks for Mr. Konaka’s valuable support and contributions to Vietnam Japan University with a belief that VJU will play an increasingly important role in training high quality human resources for both countries and the region.
