Dang Thi Bich Thao – a graduate from MPP shares: “VJU’s lecturers have set weekly schedules to meet in person with their students. For students, this is golden time for them to be directly guided by the teachers. Personally, I have learned a lot from those direct interactions. With Lecturer Linh, I was taught how to run models, how to write code on econometric software.
In each of the subjects, VJU’s students are required to write a short paper (essay) on a topic of their interest. By working on their own project and method, students are encouraged to reveal their identity, expressing their opinions on the chosen issue. I feel more confident after such essays, where my own opinion is valued. Working on different topics also sharpen my thinking and research method.
The learning environment at VJU is friendly and open. Lecturers and staffs are supportive to students. Not only study, our student life is vivid with warm cultural and arts activities. For me, VJU has become the second home: now I have graduated, but I always feel happy and loving every time I come back.”
