Career Seminar seminar on shaping self-worth in the labor market organized by Sekisho Vietnam at Vietnam Japan University

On May 19, 2023, VJU students had the opportunity to participate in a seminar on career counseling and business exchange organized by Sekisho Vietnam.

The event was attended by representatives of Meiko Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. This is a 100% FDI company belonging to Meiko Electronics Corporation of Japan – the 5th largest enterprise in the world in terms of sales of electronic circuit boards. Hitherto, the company has grown into a large company with nearly 5000 employees, regularly hiring translators, interpreters, administrative, human resources, and technical positions.

This event provides a setting for students and Japanese businesses to connect and discuss information about career prospects, typical welfare regimes, and the working environment at Japanese enterprises. The valuable sharing from the representative of Meiko Vietnam company allowed the students to better comprehend the working style at a Japanese firm, which would help them form their own values in the future.
