Vietnam Japan University organized an open lecture on “Japanese Manufacturing” for Japanese language learners in two high schools (Kim Lien High School and Viet Duc High School) and one junior high school (CVA junior high school) in Hanoi.
The philosophy of “Monozukuri” – Japanese Manufacturing was emphasized by two speakers in the open lecture
The speakers were Dr. Thang, Director of the Program “Intelligent Mechatronics and Japanese Manufacturing”, which will be newly established this year, and Prof. Enomoto of Osaka University, Japan, which is a partner university currently supporting the development of this program.

The two speakers emphasized that “Monozukuri” is not merely the manufacturing of products but an integrated process from planning to research, development, processing, assembly, and sales. Prof. Enomoto stated, “Japanese Monozukuri is characterized by its broadness and depth in all aspects. Meanwhile, Dr. Nguyen Van Thang also added the history of development, the role of technology in life and production, and forecasts about the future career structure with the appearance of AI (artificial intelligence).
Open lectures for students at Chu Van An junior high School, Hanoi
This is an opportunity for high school and junior high school students to better understand the fields and professions that will be most interesting and sought-after by businesses in the future. The lecture also inspired the students, assisting them in better aligning their goals and deciding on a career path after graduation.
