The MBA program aims to prepare learners to:
- Become entrepreneurs and business leaders with vision and knowledge about business administration in a global environment
- Have the capacity to operate, organize, and execute business activities of enterprises in the context of globalization and international integration
Program objectives
The Master of Business Administration program at Vietnam Japan University is designed to achieve the following:
- Knowledge: Equip students with foundational and in-depth, interdisciplinary knowledge in both theory and practice in the field of Business Administration;
- Skills: Equip students with operational skills and methods of scientific thinking, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial thinking in the field of Business Administration;
- Autonomy and responsibility capacity: Equip students with good political, moral, and personality qualities, being responsible for the subjects of the economy – society.
With the mission of providing high-quality researchers and human resources for enterprises, that are well-prepared with professional knowledge and competency, have enough well-trained skills to be able to function well in the knowledge-based and dynamics environment, adapt well to the demands of not only Vietnam’s society but also Asian area and the world, MBA program has developed an educational philosophy as follows:

- Teaching language: The program is taught in English except for the following 2 modules: Philosophy (in Vietnamese), Japanese language (in Vietnamese and Japanese). Graduation thesis written and defended in English.

“The MBA program at VJU will expose students to an eye-opening opportunity to study business and management in a proactive and creative manner. Strong commitment by highly motivated students shall be needed to accomplish a challenging and rewarding program. The curriculum emphasizes the sustainability or triple bottom line, the impact of national and organizational culture, and experiences and knowledge of companies in Japan.
MBA students will tackle the internship program at a Japanese university and/or business enterprises in their second year and enjoy learning a lot about the reality of Japanese business, its market, and society. Students will be expected to perform significant and creative research activities with the professors at VJU, based on the comprehensive coursework and exciting internship practicum.
