Admission Information Session and Scholarship information in 2017

On 14/6/2016 – Vietnam Japan University, VNU held Admission Information Session and Scholarship information in 2017

The second Admission Information Session and Scholarship information in 2017 was organized at Room 415 and attended by more than a hundred potential applicants coming from various Universities and pursuing different Programs. 

There are 2 sessions. The first session is the introduction of Vietnam Japsn University (VJU) and the second one includes direct conversation with representatives of Programs that applicants are interested in and sightseeing VJU campus.

At the beginning, Rector Furuta Motoo had a speech of his thoughts and expectation to establish VJU. Besides, he also pointed out educational philosophy of VJU: Liberal Arts Education,  Wide vision and Critical thinking Students, Sustainable Development.

After Furuta Motoo’s speech, Vice Rector Nguyen Hoang Oanh introduced to every applicant at the Session about education, researching, field trips, culture exchange activities in VJU. Moreover, he provided detailed information of selection criteria and admission phases for 2017 Master’s programs (full tuition scholarships and partial tuition scholarships, Internship Scholarship in Japan); Career Orientation and Opportunity to study PhD in Japan after graduation.

Introduction of VJU wrapped attention of all applicants and there are many questions, mainly focusing on: Education content, Choosing a elective to study following self-oriented researching path; Scholarships; Practical research and study conditions; Career opportunities after graduation. All these questions are answered precisely and in detail by VJU’s rectorate board, lecturers in Master Programs.

The Session was closed by a campus sightseeing. By showing the applicants material base at VJU, VJU’s executives hope to give the applicants a clear imagination of studying in an international environment.

Admission Information Session and Scholarship information in 2017 aims to provide detailed information on the training programs, scholarships and internships in Japan by the master’s programs for potential applicants to be commenced in September, 2017, including: Nanotechnology; Infrastructure engineering; Environmental engineering; Public policy; Area studies (Japanese Study and Vietnamese Study); Business administration; Climate change & Development.
