From March 23rd, 2018, VJU organized a series of Career Orientation Seminars, aiming to help VJU’s students the chances to learn more about organizations and enterprises with Japanese elements working in Vietnam.
The seminars will be held weekly with the speakers are representatives from the organizations or enterprises. The content of seminar series focuses on the introduction of organization, strategy and business philosophy, organizational model, staffing requirements … From there, VJU students can gain practicalunderstanding of operation, especially depth understanding about the requirements of the human resource quality that companies need, which is the best preparation for them in finding and applying for jobs in their companies after graduation.
In this series, on March 30th, the seminar to introduce the Japan International Cooperation Agency – JICA with the speaker is Ms. Yutori Sadamoto – Representative of JICA Vietnam Office. The seminar focused on JICA’s mission, organizational structure, and role in coordinating ODA projects of Japanese Government, especially the role of JICA with VJU and staffing requirements at JICA.
Japan is in the leading group of countries having ODA projects in Vietnam, in many different fields such as: Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment, Economic Finance, Education, Infrastructure … from those seminars VJU students had the opportunity to gain a better understanding about the importance and influence of those projects in Vietnam as well as the role of JICA in coordinating those projects.
The next seminars will be held weekly with the participation of The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), AGS (A. I. Global Sun Partners JSC), AEON MALL Vietnam…the seminars content will be updated continuously.
