On March 21, 2025, a seminar was held at both VJU Hoa Lac and VJU My Dinh campuses to gather feedback on the development of new academic programs from the Faculty of Advanced Technology and Engineering (FATE) and the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences (FISS). The event attracted a large number of experts, faculty members, business representatives, and alumni. Discussions focused on the following new academic programs: Semiconductor Chip Technology, Intelligent Control and Automation, Innovation and Global Development, Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering
The seminar aimed to collect input from various stakeholders to develop highly applicable programs that meet practical demands and align with advancements across multiple fields. Key topics of discussion included program structure evaluation, credit requirements, core and elective courses, skill orientation, applied research, as well as opportunities for industry collaboration, internships, and employment.
Through the event, VJU gathered valuable insights from experts, emphasizing the balance between theory and practice, the flexibility of the programs to adapt to labor market trends, and the importance of expanding partnerships with businesses and international institutions to enhance training quality and career prospects.
The feedback collected during the seminar will be incorporated into the finalization of the programs before their implementation in 2025. With thorough preparation in curriculum design, learning pathways, infrastructure, and close collaboration with businesses and leading universities in Japan, the new programs promise to offer students comprehensive learning opportunities and career development prospects in an increasingly globalized world.
