On November 18 and December 16, students of the Japanese studies program (BJS) of Vietnam Japan University had an exchange session with Japanese students from Kwansei Gakuin University.
The attendees were separated into teams and enjoyed participating in traditional Japanese games. During their game of “Jeopardy”, the team members engaged in effective collaboration and mutual support. Throughout the session, they demonstrated a high level of professionalism and teamwork.
First session on November 18
Second session on December 16
The exchange events were orchestrated by a Japanese student who is currently interning at VJU. The objective of these events was to offer Japanese language learners a valuable opportunity to improve their language skills and gain practical exposure to the language.
The event provided a valuable platform for both cohorts of students to interact with individuals outside of their usual social circles, fostering a sense of cross-cultural exchange. Additionally, the occasion enabled students from the VJU to develop more meaningful relationships with their Japanese counterparts through the shared activity. The opportunity to engage in conversation with peers of the same age group in Japanese served as a significant motivational factor for the VJU students to enhance their proficiency in the language.
