On March 20, 2025, VNU Vietnam Japan University (VJU) and Daiwa Living Vietnam successfully held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony in Hanoi. This event marked an important milestone in fostering stronger collaboration in education, research, and industry engagement.
Daiwa Living Vietnam is a subsidiary of Daiwa House Group, one of Japan’s leading real estate and construction corporations. In Vietnam, Daiwa Living specializes in property management and high-end accommodation services, operating Roygent Parks Hanoi and D-WORK PLACE to serve international clients. With the philosophy of “Enriching Lives”, the company is committed to expanding its services to bring practical value to customers while contributing to sustainable community development.
The ceremony took place at D-WORK PLACE in Hanoi, gathering key representatives from both institutions. From VJU, attendees included Prof. Furuta Motoo – VJU’s rector, Dr. Do Ngoc Ha – Deputy Chief of R&D Promotion and Cooperation Development Office, and other university officials. From Daiwa Living Vietnam, the delegation was led by Mr. Matsumura Teru – General Director, accompanied by Mr. Sukegawa Koichi – Director, Ms. Nguyen Minh Phuong – Sales Director at Roygent Parks Hanoi (and an alumna of VJU’s Master’s program), and operation supervisors from D-WORK PLACE. The event also welcomed Ms. Kamitani Naoko, First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam, who delivered a speech highlighting the importance of Japan-Vietnam educational cooperation.
