The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has agreed to provide the scholarships to the learners of VNU Vietnam Japan University for the academic year 2023 – 2024.
Therefore, VNU Vietnam Japan University (VJU) would like to announce to the learners the application process for the BIDV scholarship for the academic year 2023 – 2024 as follows:
1. Objectives of the scholarship
To encourage students who have performed well in their study, extra-curriculum and support the students who have difficulties.
2. Who can apply
– Students (master’s and bachelor student) are studying at the university (enrolled before this year) who achieve the accumulated GPA in the academic year 2022 – 2023 equal or greater than 2.80, having no failed subjects (F –score) and have the score of attitude is from 80 or greater (if being assessed).
– For learners who enrolled in 2023: Having high score in the admission exam 2023. For the undergraduate students, scholarships will be awarded to the top scorers based on their results of their entrance methods, VJU will convert results from all methods to one classification to select the recipients.
– Privilege will be given to students who have not received any scholarships from VJU, who are active members of the Youth Union, Student Union; who have good scientific research results; who contribute to the social activities, general activities of VJU; or students who have difficulties that need the support for their study.
3. Value of the scholarship: VND 5.000.000/student (Five million Vietnam dong for one scholarship).
4. Total number of scholarship: 10 slots
5. Application documents
– Application form with photo attached (form attached);
– Letter of verification for the family situation with seal of the authorities (if any);
– Photocopies of certificates on the Activities with the Youth Union- Student Union, scientific research results, social activities (if any).
6. How to submit the application documents
6.1. Online submission
Step 1: Prepare the necessary documents in order and combine them in to one file PDF extension naming as follow: Student ID_Full_name_Program
Step 2: Send the application document to email studentaffairs@st.vju.ac.vn with mail subject: Student ID_Fullname _Program_Application for BIDV 2023-2024.
Note: Student Affairs will not accept the application e-mails or application files whose names don’t follow our guide.
6.2. Hard-copies submission
The original application documents (hard copy) shall be submited to the Student Affairs in R.103, QGHN04, Hoa Lac Campus or R.510, My Dinh Campus.
6.3. Deadline of appplication
Before 16:00 October 31, 2023 (Tuesday).
