On November 13th, 2023, Dr. Yuhei Higashikata from the Faculty of Kansei Design at Hachinohe Institute of Technology led an anime production workshop at Vietnam Japan University.
Dr. Higashikata, an artist who deepened his ties with Vietnam as part of the Agency for Cultural Affairs Japan’s’ Emerging Artist Overseas Training Program in 2020, guided the students through the creative process. The students enthusiastically engaged in crafting their animations, learning the basics of anime production and creating their own short films.
Vietnam Japan University, with its emphasis on liberal arts, regularly hosts diverse events like this for VJU students.
