On 08/04/2022, Vietnam Japan University (VJU) and Showa Women’s University (SWU) signed a MOU to enhance relations between the two universities and to develop academic and cultural interchange in the areas of education, research, and other activities, agreed to cooperate and work together toward the internationalization of higher education.

The cooperation includes but are not limited to:

  • Exchange of students
  • Exchange of faculty and staff members
  • Joint research projects
  • Joint conferences
  • Possible support for applicants to the graduate school
  • Other programs mutually agreed upon by the two institutions

Moreover, VJU and SWU also signed Agreement For A Framework Of An Admission Based On Recommendation. The primary goal underlying this Agreement is to create a seamless, sequential, and developmental learning progression of academic degrees from the BA at SWU to the MA at VJU.

Situated in Tokyo, Japan’s capital as well as its political, economic and cultural center, Showa Women’s University is one of its top academic institutions for women. SWU are committed to empowering women to succeed in an increasingly diverse and complex world.
