The Master’s Program in Area Studies at Vietnam Japan University (VJU) has the following objectives:

After graduation, students are equipped to take up positions that require general and interdisciplinary research skills in international organizations, diplomatic agencies, government organizations and NGOs, universities and research institutes, and services and trading companies, especially Japanese companies. Students can also pursue a PhD degree at leading universities in the world, especially those in Japan.

Application documents screening and interview.
3. Interview method
The candidate may choose one of the two following interview methods:
- On-site interview: Candidates are requested to go to VJU campus to participate in a face-to-face interview with the admission committee;
- Online interview: Only those candidates who cannot join on-site interview at VJU campus due to geographical or work conditions may propose the admissions committee to allow them to take online interview via Internet connection.
